Question: How essential is having Caricatures at a wedding?

Answer: You need caricatures at your wedding to help guests start laughing together, to have something original and special produced in front of their eyes to take home.

To help keep guests of all ages occupied at key points of the day such as photos, the room change around or the evening reception.

Question: What services do you offer and what packages should we consider?

Answer: If you click on the "yellow photo boxes" on this page you will be taken to find out about the service you click on. My services are many but the key services include:

 

• Guest Caricatures... (The most popular and essential service I offer)

• You hire me at your wedding and I go round the way a magician or childrens entertainer would... astounding your guests with quick on the spot caricatures. Minimum hire starts from 2hrs (up to approx 15 guests per hour)  (call or email me for more details)

My other main services are:

• Drawing every guest at the wedding from my home studio..(max 150 - 200 guests) on A5 place cards from photos you send well before the wedding (subject to availability.)

 

A satisfied customer who ordered A5 Place Settings said: "Rich has worked purely from photos provided to him in order for him to produce drawings as our wedding favours. His work is amazing and he really captured personalities somehow in the drawings as well! We were able to recognise all our guests without looking at the names on the folders, he has done such an amazing job and we are so pleased with them all!"

• Mounted Guest  Signing Boards: You send me photos of your faces and wedding clothes/colours before the wedding and I show up with a full colour caricature mounted signing board... your guests will be speechless!

• Seating Table Plans: Not just your average table planner but a caricature of the wedding couple surrounded by cute cartoon tables with everyones names in neat cartoon writing surrounded by hand crafted "simulation foam" frame or the option of a real wooden reconditioned old fashioned frame

• Invitations: Amaze your guests with the picture from the Mounted Signing Caricature in the post way before the wedding and then have them adore the full size original and sign it when your Magical Day has finally arrived!

• Wedding Gifts: Caricatures of many shapes and sizes such as a Mounted Signing Board in the post so you can surprise your friends as a gift at their wedding even if Cartoon Rich is not attending! Gifts for Groomsmen, Gifts for Children... the possibilities are endless... just get in touch!

Question: What Package Deals do you offer so we can take more than one of your fantastic services?

​

Answer: Hire me to entertain at your wedding and you can enjoy a fair and basic price including travel starting at 2hrs hire time (approx up to 15 guests drawn per hour)

Hire me for more than 2hrs  (max 4hrs ) and get the 3rd or 4th hour discounted rate.

Add any of the services together (subject to availability) and expect a competitive reduction on the package price compared to how much you would pay for each service individually via postal delivery etc.

 

Question: Do you sit in a corner and wait or walk around attracting customers?

Answer: Being in a tight corner with a creaky easel and sitting waiting for people to come over is what you might have seen someone else do at your friends wedding... but I usually find mixing and mingling means people can sit at the tables having a drink and relax whilst I work the room.

Each set up is different but I always find the right balance to keep your guests happy and stop them waiting in a large line to be drawn.

(This is what happens with artists who sit at easels on many occasions and do you want your guests sweating in a big line waiting?

Each venue size and layout requires me to use my intuition to get the best results...

(In the majority of cases I will work the room and avoid hanging around in one place for too long to give your guests a bit of a performance and something to laugh about)
