Question: How essential is having Caricatures at a Corporate Event?
Answer: (Although some events hire a magician AND a caricaturist which I have no problems working the room alongside a magician...) Most people have seen a magician at a corporate event many times so some event organisers want to have something a bit different at their office party, team building event or awards dinner. Caricatures are lots of fun and your staff will enjoy having a laugh together as they are drawn.
Question: How long can you be hired for and what packages are on offer?
Answer: Hire me to entertain at your event and you can enjoy a fair and basic price including travel starting at 2hrs hire time (approx up to 15 guests drawn per hour)
Hire me for more than 2hrs (max 4hrs) and get the 3rd or 4th hour discounted rate.
Add any of the other Corporate services together (subject to availability) and expect a competitive reduction on the package price compared to how much you would pay for each service individually via postal delivery etc. (such as Retirement Caricature or Awards Presentation Caricatures)
Question: Do you sit in a corner and wait or walk around attracting customers?
Answer: Being in a tight corner with a creaky easel and sitting waiting for people to come over is what you might have seen someone else do at your last event.. but I usually find mixing and mingling means people can sit at the tables having a drink and relax whilst I work the room.
Each set up is different but I always find the right balance to keep your guests happy and stop them waiting in a large line to be drawn.
(This is what happens with artists who sit at easels on many occasions and do you want your guests sweating in a big line waiting?
Each venue size and layout requires me to use my intuition to get the best results...
(In the majority of cases I will work the room and avoid hanging around in one place for too long to give your guests a bit of a performance and something to laugh about)
